Bach Beat
A Marimbist as Pointillist
Makoto Nakura, Marimba and Vibraphone

Bach Beat Makoto Nakura, Marimba and Vibraphone
In Makota Nakura's booklet notes, he says the following: "Bach's music is the highest mountain for all musicians to climb. Even though Bach didn't write any pieces for marimba, I haven't spent a single day without playing his music from my own transcriptions of Bach's works for organ, violin, cello, flute, lute and keyboard. The reason I want to play Bach on the marimba comes to this — I would like people to listen to the music I am playing rather than to what instrument I am playing."

This is a Super Audio CD (SACD) that will play on standard and SACD players
